FORBIDDEN FRUIT FESTIVAL, DUBLIN

Date: 30TH -31ST MAY 2026 (MAY BANK HOLIDAY)
LOCATION: Royal Hospital, Kilmainham

Dublin's beloved city-centre music festival, Forbidden Fruit, is set to make its grand return to the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on the June Bank Holiday weekend, May 30th and 31st, 2026. This iconic event will once again transform the historic grounds into a vibrant celebration of music, art, and culture to kick off the summer festival season.

This year's lineup features an impressive blend of international stars and homegrown heroes. Grammy-winning producer KAYTRANADA and Galway's own international success story, DJ and producer KETTAMA, are slated to headline. They are joined by two of the UK's most dynamic acts: jungle and drum & bass innovator Nia Archives and soulful singer-songwriter Joy Crookes.

The festival will also feature a diverse undercard with performances from garage sensation Interplanetary Criminal, German live artist Ben Böhmer, and the eclectic Folamour. The event continues its tradition of championing Irish talent, with acts like Sally C, Bricknasty, and Aby Coulibaly also on the bill.

Set across five stages on the beautiful grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Forbidden Fruit offers a unique multi-stage music and arts experience. In addition to the stellar lineup, attendees can explore art installations and enjoy a wide variety of food and drink options.

When the main festival ends, the party continues with Forbidden Fruit Night, a series of official after-parties in top venues across Dublin city, featuring intimate sets from festival artists and special guests until the early hours.

Tickets for Forbidden Fruit 2026 are selling fast, with weekend passes available on a tiered basis. Given the high demand, fans are advised to purchase their tickets soon to be part of Dublin's ultimate summer kick-off party.
