Breaking Barriers: Robyn Lynch Collaborates w/ CP Company

Familiar faces showed out this weekend at LFW to support Irish fashion designer, Robyn Lynch, as she showcased her AW24 collection in the event’s NEWGEN show space on Saturday. - Continuing her reign as one of Dublin’s most recognised creatives and breaking down barriers for those to come, Robyn has continuously taken inspiration from Irish culture that surrounded her growing up, including her father’s soccer moments, staple objects around the house, and for this latest collection, her younger sister’s involvement in Fèis competitions, Irish dancing.

Her collaboration with C.P Company is another innovative approach to her designs as she upcycles fabrics and reshapes the brand to fit into her own silhouettes. Adjusting positions of the badge logo, reimagining the renowned built in goggles, and offering a fresh take with curved contrast panels and placed pockets. This is not the first time Robyn has collaborated with outerwear companies, as she collaborated with Columbia for AW22 in a similar project.

She tells WWD, “For me, it’s more exciting to work on a collaboration and share archive pool and reference resources. At the moment in my career, it is an accessible way for me to get materials that I wouldn’t necessarily have the ability or the manufacturing skills to make so that fulfills my design. I would love to continue to push this concept and maybe push it into the realm of luxury,”
