Dior Paradise: Bitter Almond Meets Riviera Sun

Dior Paradise is the new 2026 addition to La Collection Privée, and it reads like the scent version of Dioriviera. Created by Francis Kurkdjian, it was launched in 2026 as a citrus gourmand for women and men, built around the almond orchard Christian Dior planted at his Château de La Colle Noire in Provence.

Kurkdjian frames it as a memory of that Provençal haven — hundreds of almond trees blooming at winter's end, and the orgeat syrup Dior loved in his cocktails. On skin it opens bright with mandarin, lime and orange, then settles into the heart of bitter almond and syrup, before a base of tonka bean and woody notes gives it warmth and hold. Dior calls it a fresh, woody trail where the radiant citrus intertwines with the soft, bittersweet roundness of mouth-watering almond, contrasted by a floral-woody accord and an enveloping tonka.

It's not a heavy gourmand, it's a sun-lit one — addictive, unisex, and designed to sit alongside the Dioriviera wardrobe with the same couture caps in Oblique, Cannage and Toile de Jouy.
