Sport Mode: Lawrence - ‘Miami To Ibiza’
Lawrence is a 20 year old DJ & producer from Meath, Ireland. Introduced to music at a young age, he developed a taste for everything electronic from the age of 12. After many years of taste refining, Lawrence began his journey into performance at the age of 18, playing for his mates at home and at parties. As he progressed further, so did his taste, with a current day Lawrence drawing elements from Minimal House, Techno, Hard-groove and Garage into both his sets and newfound production.
“For this track I wanted to provide a modern and refreshing twist on a classic from my youth. Miami 2 Ibiza was an obvious choice for me with Tinie Tempah’s vocals ringing across the track creating a hyped up atmosphere for the listener. To help me modernise this track I was inspired by emerging artists such as Sella alongside solidified local heroes such as Tommy Holohan to provide a heavier focus on drum groove.”
