LOUIS VUITTON: AMBRE LEVANT PARFUM

Louis Vuitton's Ambre Levant, launched in 2026 by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, is the house's newest chapter in its Journey to the Middle East, and it treats amber and oud not as opposites but as a single golden-hour glow.

Opening with mandarin brightened by cinnamon, white pepper and a touch of saffron, the scent moves through a sheer incense heart before settling into a dense, resinous base of labdanum, ambergris and Louis Vuitton's signature oud — sourced from rare trees matured over 30 years in Bangladesh through a long-standing artisan partnership — which gives the drydown its woody, subtly animalic warmth. Presented in the house's refillable, personalizable flacon in 100ml and 200ml sizes at $440, Ambre Levant extends the lineage begun with Ombre Nomade, but where that fragrance chased desert night, this one lingers in the suspended light just before it, luminous, spicy, and built to last on skin.
