Nocta take the heat to rio with cardinal collection

Ahead of the 2026 World Cup, Drake’s NOCTA takes the heat to Brazil. The Summer ’26 cardinal collection is a full tonal kit built around one color: a washed, mineral yellow that reads like sun-faded cotton; ‘alabaster’.

The name is intentional. Alabaster nods to the soft glow of the stone, and quietly to the yellow diamond on Brazil’s flag. NOCTA keeps it restrained — no big graphics, no national team cues — just a head-to-toe system cut for heat: Northstar woven jacket and pant, Fleece CS hoodie and crew, open-hem sweats, fleece shorts, nylon shorts, tee, and Club cap.

The campaign was shot in Rio de Janeiro, in cages and alleys where football is daily life. That context is the whole point. This isn’t stadium apparel. It’s pelada gear — breathable nylon, lighter fleece, easy shorts, small reflective hits, and the trident logo done tone-on-tone. It’s designed to move from concrete to corner store without changing.

It’s also the most focused Cardinal Stock yet. One palette, consistent fabric hand, prices that sit in the essentials range. The collection lands as part of Nike’s wider World Cup storytelling, but it feels local first — a tribute to rhythm, not results.

The NOCTA x Nike Cardinal Stock “Alabaster” collection releases May 13 on NOCTA.com, with a global drop May 14 via SNKRS and select retailers.
