On Wednesday evening, May 20, 2026, Nicolas Ghesquière staged Louis Vuitton's Cruise 2027 inside New York's newly reopened Frick Collection — the first runway ever held in the Upper East Side landmark. The show doubled as the launch of a three-year partnership between the house and the museum, positioning art, not just architecture, as the backdrop.
Ghesquière called it a dialogue between Paris and New York, and between uptown and downtown. He returned to the city where he first showed cruise in 2019, this time mining the duality of the two capitals to build the collection.
